Founder

Anagha

Anagha, an IIM graduate with 1.5 years of corporate experience, found her calling far from the corporate world. Through heartfelt conversations with traditional weavers, she learned of their struggles with lack of work and meager wages. Despite being a newcomer to the fashion industry, her love for handloom sarees and her determination to make a difference led her to take a bold leap into the unknown. Founding RIANA was one of the biggest risks she took, driven by her passion and the stories of the artisans she met.

Co-founder

Rishikesh

Rishikesh, a seasoned textile manufacturer, brought his expertise in numbers and management to the venture. Though new to the fashion industry, his experience in managing a manufacturing business has been invaluable in laying a strong foundation for RIANA. His pragmatic approach and commitment to ethical practices have been crucial in turning their shared dream into a reality.

Together, Anagha and Rishikesh have built RIANA as an underdog story of love, risk, and unwavering commitment. Their journey is fueled by a deep respect for traditional weavers and a desire to bring their exquisite craftsmanship to the world. RIANA is more than a brand; it's a heartfelt tribute to the artisans and a celebration of India’s rich textile heritage.
